It's no secret we like a gin here at CVD, but did you know we're rather partial to rum too?
Join us from 2-6pm on Sunday June 19th as Jan guides you through a whole range of rums from across the Caribbean.
You will be greeted with a rum cocktail made using one of a growing range of locally distilled molasses-based spirits, before tasting your way through 10 (yes, 10!) different rums as you learn about the intricacies of its production, the role it played in the development of the New World and how we can approach categorising a spirit that defies such things.
The tasting will last around 4 hours, with an interval, and is priced at £45 per person. This is a deposit to reserve your place for the tasting, it is NOT the full amount. There will still be £30 left to pay on the day.
