Discover Chew Valley Distillery, an award-winning family-owned gin
distillery nestled in the picturesque village of Bitton, Bristol.

In just over three short years, our passion for crafting exceptional spirits has propelled us to remarkable heights within the industry.
At the heart of our story is the Kelly family: Joe, Amy, and their two lovely children, Freya and Lola.

Joe Kelly, an aircraft engineer by profession, found his true calling in the world of spirits. With unwavering support from his wife, Amy, a midwife and supermum,

Joe devoted every spare moment in 2020 to learning, building, and perfecting the art of distilling. Their hard work and dedication paid off, and Chew Valley Distillery was successfully launched in February 2020.

Our rapid growth and astounding success, fuelled by our award-winning gins, led us to relocate to a new site just a stone's throw away from Joe's cherished childhood playground, the Chew Valley – the inspiration behind
our name.

Today, our fully operational distillery, bar, and bottle shop
welcome visitors on Fridays 2 to 6 PM and Saturdays 12 to 6 PM.

We also offer tours and tastings for a more immersive gin experience.
